Diversified Investment Solutions

BCI offers a variety of investment options for our clients, classified by asset class or strategy. Clients invest in pooled funds aligned with their investment objectives. All assets are held in trust, with clients holding units of the pooled funds. This structure offers diversification, scale, and cost efficiency compared to direct investing individually.

Pooled Fund Structure and Operations

Pool Access and Unit Pricing

BCI’s public market pooled funds open daily. BCI’s private market pooled funds typically open annually. Unit price is determined by dividing the market value by the number of outstanding units.

Expenses

Expenses are recovered through a reduction in unit value, ensuring costs are shared proportionally. For example, a client owning 5% of a pooled portfolio pays 5% of that portfolio’s costs.

Governance and Other Investment Options

BCI’s Board of Directors approve Pooled Fund investment policies. While pooled portfolios are BCI’s primary investment vehicle, segregated asset management is available when necessary for individual client needs.
